Employment Opportunities:

Development Director
The Lexington Art League is Lexington's oldest and largest visual arts organization. LAL envisions visual art as the lens through which central Kentucky will distinguish itself as a progressive, inclusive and vibrant region. LAL presents original and creative programs, with a reputation for thought-provoking content, that illuminate the role of visual art in contemporary life.

In addition to our flagship gallery in the historic Loudoun House, this includes the Project Space installation area, LAL programs exhibits at several off-site locations.

Working in close collaboration with the Executive Director and the Board of Trustees, the Development Director plans and executes a comprehensive development and stewardship program for the Lexington Art League (LAL) including operational plans for raising philanthropic funds. The director advises and assists the Executive Director, Board of Directors, Development Cabinet and volunteer leadership, as necessary and appropriate, in carrying out their resource development responsibilities. The director coordinates with the Communications Director and Visual Art Director to ensure that development plans and benefits are integrated with marketing and programming plans to accomplish the strategic goals of LAL.  The Development Director serves as the chief liaison to the Board Development Cabinet.
